The horse can lick and nibble at it instead\r\nof acquiring bad habits like wind-sucking, weaving and\r\nchewing the wooden poles of the paddock fence or the\r\nstable door. The Safari Horse Block also prevents horses\r\nfrom bolting their feed. Greedy feeding is one of the\r\nfactors which cause colic in horses.\r\nA high molasses content makes the Safari Horse Block\r\nvery palatable. However, the salt level and physical\r\ncharacteristics of the block regulate intake - it is hard\r\nand dense, and the horse has to do a lot of licking and\r\nnibbling to meet its daily needs.
