Key Features The Eggbutt cheek piece prevents pinching of the lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure. An internal stainless steel chain covered with a bespoke non-toxic, UV resistant PVC tube offering an exceptionally soft and evenly distributed pressure over tongue and bars. Especially good for the horse that objects to metal. Cheekpiece The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes, standard and a slightly smaller model for a pony. Mouthpiece The idea behind this mouthpiece design, a soft tube which curves around the tongue applying spread tongue and bar pressure has since been further finessed with the innovation of the moulded mullen.
