The Neue Schule Verbindend Loose Ring features the Tranz Angled Lozenge which is set at a unique 20º angle that activates more feel over the tongue. The lozenge contours to the thicker, less sensitive part of the horse's tongue allowing clear and defined aids to be given through the reins without abusing the tongue or interfering with the palate. The bit is slightly curved so it takes up less room between the tongue and the upper palate; the oval profile subtly depresses the horse's tongue and allows for a larger upper airway which enhances the horse's ability to breathe and swallow more easily. The Verbindend greatly emphasises the signals through the rein and allows for lightening of the forehand. The Verbindend helps to eliminate tongue evasion as it creates a channel for the tongue and so encourages the horse to soften and relax through the jaw. The mouthpiece also enhances the bend for lateral work and promotes the self carriage and throughness needed for sustained advanced movements.
