Cheyenne De Beer

At 22 years old, I am an impassioned open show jumper currently immersed in the vibrant equestrian scene of KwaZulu-Natal. Presently, I am engrossed in the role of work rider at Emerald Isle Stud, a position that grants me the privilege of working with and riding some of their truly exceptional equine superstars.

My journey in the equestrian world commenced at the tender age of 7, and since then, I have been profoundly fortunate to receive unwavering and invaluable support that has propelled my riding career to remarkable heights. Among my most significant achievements stand the prestigious titles I've clinched, including victories in the Pr Open Jumping Championships, JR Open Jumping Championships, and the illustrious Philip Smith Memorial Equitation—an accomplishment that holds a special place in my equestrian narrative.

Looking ahead, my aspirations for the upcoming year are anchored in further solidifying my presence in the open classes within KZN. My goal is to steadily ascend and find my comfort zone within the challenging 1.40m classes. This strategic progression will pave the way for my potential entry into Grand Prix classes in the ensuing year. The anticipation of this journey fills me with tremendous excitement and gratitude.

Being an integral part of the Tack 'n Togs team for this year is an honor that I deeply cherish. I am immensely grateful for this opportunity, and I ardently look forward to the experiences and successes that lie ahead. The support and camaraderie within this esteemed team inspire me to strive for greater achievements and represent the values and excellence that Tack 'n Togs embodies. Here's to a promising and fruitful year that awaits, filled with dedication, ambition, and a resolute commitment to the sport that I hold dear.
